Dress Code

Pre-Primary - Level 1:

Students must wear a leotard or biketard of their choice.  Dance shorts, tights, dance skirts and/or tutus may be worn over the leotard. All skirts must be above the knee. Hair must be pulled up away from the face. Ponytails, braids, pigtails, twists or other hairstyles are recommended. 

Ballet 2 - Advanced:

Students must wear a solid color leotard of their choice. Pink tights are optional but must be footed or stirrup (not footless). Pink leather ballet shoes are required to have elastic. Ribbons are optional. Pointe shoes must have elastic and ribbons. A ballet skirt, at the mid thigh is optional. Fitted dance shorts are permitted for dancers over the age of 25 only. Hair must be up, away from the face and secured to the head in a bun, twist or braid.

Acro /Jazz / Lyrical / Tap / Contemporary:

Students must wear a leotard, biketard or unitard.  Crop tops, dance shorts, capris or leggings of their choice are optional.  Hair must be pulled up, away from the face. Proper shoes are required for each class.

Aerial & Circus

Students must wear a leotard, biketard or unitard & t-shirt of their choice.  Fitted athletic bottoms may be worn over the leotard. All dance clothes must be free of sequins, zippers, hooks and anything that could catch or snag the silks. Hair must be up, away from the face. Ponytails, pigtails or braids are recommended. Bare, clean feet please.

 Hip Hop / Musical Theater / Improve / Singing

 Students may wear appropriate 'everyday' clothes.  T-shirts, crop tops, dance shorts, capris or leggings of their choice.  Hair must be pulled up, away from the face. Sneakers or dance shoes are required for each class. No sandals, flip flops, crocs, slippers or other similar type shoes are permitted. 

Boys & Men:
For ballet, fitted, solid color t-shirt, black dance pants or shorts and black or white ballet slippers. For all other classes males are to wear comfortable, fitted clothing in which they can move easily.

ALL DANCEWEAR SHOULD ALLOW THE DANCER TO MOVE FREELY BUT NOT DISTRACT FROM THE DANCERS MOVEMENT. DANCEWEAR SHOULD ALSO ALLOW BODY LINES TO BE VIEWABLE.
